Our most popular tour: Rockland Harbor
Give us two hours and we’ll give you a taste of sea kayaking and show you around our home harbor. Rockland is endlessly fascinating, from the fishing and limestone industries to the Breakwater.
This is an excellent tour for beginners and those on a tight schedule to get a taste of what sea kayaking is all about. We will start our tour from Snow Marine Park on the Rockland waterfront (near the public landing). From there, we will head out into Rockland’s historic harbor, one of Maine’s largest working harbors and ports for bringing in the famous Maine lobsters. As we paddle by many working lobster boats and tall-masted schooners and follow the shoreline towards Owls Head, we will look for seals and seabirds. As we wind our way back to port, we will enjoy a grand view of the city, the famous Rockland breakwater and lighthouse, and the beautiful Camden Hills beyond.
Price: $70 (kids 12 and under: $50)
When: Most days at 9am, 10am and 1pm (We suggest morning tours as the weather is calmer. Please call for availability.)
Please note: Additional tours and times may be offered during the high season in July and August. Please ask for details.
